1 - When setting up a forum here, are there any bandwidth problems
2 - Does it cost anything to post ads, or company logos that act as links
3 - Can I have a pool of moderators with privileges (such as ability to delete spam, move posts etc) but only I would be able to do high level stuff like restructure the whole site
4 - Is it possible to set a limit on the length of signatures
5 - How long has this company been around

Thanks for the response.
6 - Can users delete their own posts
7 - Are avatars
- a) resized to a preset size
- b) or displayed at whatever size a user submits
- c) Are they stored on your server, or always referenced back to the original source
- d) Does each one have to be individually approved by the administrator
8 - Are more smilies available than are visible in this forum here
9 - Do you know of anywhere I can download more smilies
10 - Where in the world is the server
11 - Do UK users present any problem
12 - How long are posts archived for
13 - can I set it up so that new users will have to respond to an email before they fully register
14 - Do you get any stats of usage
So far this is working really well!

BTW I've tried registering in the support section to get answers to my questions, but the system won't allow me to register - unlike it lets me here. I assume that's because I'm not yet a customer and don't qualify for support.
And don't get me wrong about all my niggly questions - this service looks fantastic! But I am a little concerned with how easy it is for someone to register and post in a forum. If an abusive poster gets kicked off, it only takes two minutes for him (and it usually is a he) to re-register under another name. On the other hand, if he had to retrieve a password from an email account, that would take a lot of the 'fun' out of it.

Many thanks for that. I'm sold! I think I'll do a trial run before deciding on which package.
I take it the free package hasn't got all the features, so I'd have to buy one to see everything in action?
Hmm... bit of a dumb question that really...
The error I got was the standard browser "This page cannot be displayed". Would you like me to try again?
Good to see a high level of support here!

Strange. Do you know how to disable friendly error messages in your Internet Explorer options? |

It's not IE that flags up a problem. It's a classic error page with HTTP 500 - Internal server error Internet Explorer at the bottom, and You must be logged in to see this link. in the address bar.
If I then click on 'go' I get an error message from you saying There Was A Problem With Your Details You must choose a UserName Your UserName must be at least 3 characters long You must choose a Password You Must give an e-mail address You Must enter a valid e-mail address E-mail Address already in use, E-mail Address already in use,
I've tried several email addresses and other combinations of stuff to no avail.
Strange, cos I got in here with no problem...

I've just signed up for a subscription forum - it's for my daughter and her friends. I thought I'd practice on that before giving the full pro one a go.
I'm impressed, and it's easier than I expected.
However I still can't register in the help foum.
I don't get it. I've just managed to register as a new user in my daughter's forum, so why won't the help forum let me in?
